Classroom Procedure
We apply modern innovative and interactive strategies in the classroom. Participatory approach is mainly used to enrich both theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject matter.
Research and Project Works
The students are supposed to carry out various project and research works for unfolding potentialities to face the challenges of the modern world. The project works include visit to different organizations, preparation of reports and presentations.
Career Counseling
With due focus on a student’s interest and background of study, we suggest they choose a subject which will lead them to be in a better career. We even ensure the students’ better marks in the proficiency tests like TOEFL and IELTS in collaboration with Standard Education Consultancies in the valley.
Computer and Science Laboratories
Each wing has an ultra-modern computer lab with sufficient number of Computers and other accessories. The motive is that the students should be familiar with the modern technological innovation. Laboratory is sufficiently equipped with necessary science apparatus of various science faculties, viz. physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Library
Each college has a rich library with plenty of reference materials, prescribed books and professional journals and magazines along with daily newspapers.
Excursions and Field Visits
We have a provision of educational excursions for the students of all faculties. Likewise, picnic session and short distance field visits come under regular features of our calendar. Similarly, for the all-round development of the students, a number of extra-curricular activities such as cultural programs, picnics, talent hunts and field visits are organized.
Orientation and Welcome Party
For the purpose of assimilation with the college’s environment, newcomers' welcome party, course orientation and experts’ counseling are given to the students.
Guest Lectures
On some crucial topics of the management and business, science and technology, the students will be exposed to guest lectures by some renowned figures and our visiting faculties.
Sports and Cultural Programmes
We facilitate students to participate in a wide range of athletic activities including basket ball, volleyball, football, table-tennis, badminton, cricket etc. We also manage CDP (career development programme) and roundtable discussion on different topics and issues to share and learn from each other.
Inter-college Friendship Basketball Competition is organized
every year.
Intra-college Football Competition is organized every year.
Cricket, table tennis, badminton competitions are frequently
organized.
Social Works
We encourage the dynamic modern youths to get intensively involved in various social and cultural works like blood donation, youth rehabilitation, cleaning campaign, awareness campaign, afforestation, charity and donation that make them really human. Every individual student and the faculty members are committed to participate at least 12 social work events in a year.
Students’ Council
We have provisions for Students’ Council that coordinates among the students, teachers and administration.
